THE WEEK THAT WAS…
End of School, end of Uni, end of exams, end of work = the start of another crazy night at Q Thursdays. This is the holiday’s bitch, and we going ALL out. Joel Alpha steps up to the plate. The dance floor is rocking. Smoke machine in full effect. Its only 11pm. Hockers “man’s” the round end of the bar. Lubing the mouths of many a parched youth. Next up is CHINA, aka Dim Sim face. The place is well and truly packed now. Meanwhile the red room opens. That pole is not there for show. Seany B said – “GET ON IT”. And they do. Lewie Day and Benny P keep it sexy behind the decks. It’s like the red light district in Amsterdam. Hook & Sling rocks the mainroom. The dance floor is going ape shit. Chardy has arrived (Frankston isn’t close). Doing what he does best. Keeping em going since ’88. It’s funny what you find on the ground when the lights go on. I found some girly knickers and a dictionary. I kept the dictionary. The knickers were still attached to a girl. Oh well. Next time.
